Job description
A vibrant, mixed Secondary School in Southall are looking for a Geography Teacher to join their school for the summer term to teach across KS3 and KS4
The Role
The school are looking for a hard-working teacher who has a passion for teaching Geography together with the skills to inspire and motivate students to allow them to succeed. In this role you will be expected to mark and plan lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will have your own classroom and be given full support from the head of humanities. This role is suitable for both experienced and newly qualified teachers as the school. You will join a friendly and supportive team which strives to ensure that all students enjoy their learning and surpass expectations of achievement. The school has an excellent SLT team and always available to support you when needed.
This role is offered on a contract basis from April 2024 – July 2024.
The school are ideally looking for a teacher with QTS but will consider applications from unqualified teachers with extensive geography teaching experience.

This large secondary school is based in Southall and is part of a well-respected Multi-Academy Trust within Southall. Pupils are motivated and high achieving and have good parental support. Pupils’ behaviour is good allowing the emphasis to be on teaching and learning. Students enjoy geography and the related subjects and the humanities department is proud of its examination results with students exceeding or equalling national averages. Outside the classroom extra-curricular activities provide a broad range of enrichment opportunities for students.
