We are recruiting for a handyperson / fabric maintenance operative to complete PPM and reactive maintenance on a mobile basis across healthcare contracts in the North West. The position will involve general fabric and building upkeep and compliance duties such as fire alarm checks and legionella prevention.
The position is a permanent position paying circa 30k plus overtime. Monday to Friday circa 40 hours per week days. Travel across the North West therefore van supplied.
Handyperson / Maintenance Engineer Duties:
To ensure all building compliance checks are complete and recorded i.e. Legionella / Tap Temps checks, Fire alarm and fire door checks, emergency lighting etc.
To complete general fabric PPM and reactive maintenance including: basic plumbing, painting, joinery, lamping and general upkeep
To assist engineers in plant room maintenance and filter cleans
To assist the soft services team where required
To ensure stock and supplies are maintained
To ensure all H&S obligations and met and exceeded
To log jobs and completed tasks on the data system
To complete any small works projects – patch plastering, painting etc.
General handyperson tasks
Basic lighting checks and upkeep
Requirements:
To have previous experience on maintenance, handyperson and compliance duties
Ideally to have some form of trade qualification but not essential
Valid driving license
Can pass a DBS check (due to site requirements)
Willing to complete general manual tasks where required
Good client facing skills
