The organisation is a Wakefield based hospice which provides high quality care and support to people with life-limiting conditions, and their families, championing quality care across the Wakefield district, and has been doing so for over 30 years. If you are looking for a rewarding, impactful fundraising role working as part of a collaborative team, this could be for you.
About the Role
As Partnerships Fundraiser you'll have a varied and busy role where you'll be working across corporate, events and community fundraising. You'll identify and develop a pipeline of new and existing supporters, increasing the number of organisations raising money by increasing awareness within the community. This will include businesses, schools, community groups and community event organisers. The hospice has a volunteer led approach to fundraising and as part of this role you'll be providing the tools, expert advice and inspiration to promote the hospice and generate income through supporters' own networks. This will be for both sponsored externally organised events, as well as hosting their own social events (supporting and working with the Events Fundraiser). This will be anything from runs and walks to skydives! This is a lovely creative role where you'll develop specific proposals for fundraising initiatives with local community organisations e.g. charity of the year, and for local events alongside the Head of Fundraising and wider team.
About You
As Partnerships Fundraiser, you will be a brilliant relationship developer and networker. With a track record in community, corporate or events fundraising, you'll be an excellent communicator with a collaborative approach.
The hospice has a fantastic culture and really looks after it's people. The fundraising team is well established with excellent, strong leadership. This really is an amazing opportunity to develop your fundraising career.
