Senior Design Engineer
Salary: Up to £55,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design function, creating innovative medical devices in line with ISO standards.
Drive the end-to-end design process, from conception to manufacturing.
Enhance existing devices and processes for optimal efficiency and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and improvements.
Upgrade design documentation, drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
Ensure adherence to quality objectives and improve design processes.
Requirements:
2+ years in a similar role, preferably within an SME.
Mastery in CAD design, especially SolidWorks.
Degree in design engineering, engineering, or related field.
Familiar with ISO product standards and gas flow/pressure devices.
Experience with reverse engineering techniques.
Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
Key Duties:
Head our design department, steering daily operations.
Develop and gain approval for design briefs.
Research and propose innovative design solutions.
Utilise design software to create models and drawings.
Maintain engineering records and assess prototypes.
Map out cost limits and budgets for new designs.
Supervise the manufacturing process, ensuring quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless execution.
Execute general design and production duties.
