Locum Democratic Services Officer
£30 p/hr East Midlands- hybrid working Sellick Partnership are excited to be working with a well-respected local authority in the East Midlands to find a Locum Democratic Services Officer to join their team.
The duties of the succesful Democratic Services Officer will include; - Providing advice and support to Members, officers, stakeholders and residents around committees, processes and decision making
- Responsibility to ensure that all decisions made at committees are taken in accordance with legal and constitutional requirements
- Managing and supporting all aspects of the Member and Officer decision making having regard to local procedures, Council policy and best practice
- Leading on all aspects of Cabinet, Council and Committee meetings including preparing reports and agenda publication, attending meetings to take minutes of the formal proceedings, and advising on constitutional requirements
