Position: Registered Mental Health Nurse/Learning Disability Nurse

Location: Dorset/Hampshire

Rates of Pay: £36.00 - £45.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

1. Personalised Care: Utilise your expertise and knowledge to deliver personalised and holistic care to clients with mental health conditions, learning disabilities or Autism. Tailor care plans to meet individual needs, goals, and aspirations, promoting independence and overall well-being.

2. Empowerment and Support: Support clients in their journey towards empowerment and self-advocacy. Encourage and motivate clients to build resilience, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth.

3. Collaborative Approach: Foster a collaborative approach by working closely with clients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team. Engage in open communication, contribute to care planning, and advocate for clients' rights and choices.

4. Outcome-Focused Care: Strive for excellence in client outcomes by regularly evaluating care plans, monitoring progress, and adjusting interventions as needed. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation in care provision.

5. Education and Training: Provide education and training to clients, their families, and colleagues to enhance understanding of mental health conditions and learning disabilities. Promote a culture of learning and professional development within the agency.

6. Compliance and Quality: Adhere to regulatory guidelines and CQC standards to ensure the highest level of care quality and safety. Participate actively in the agency's ongoing registration process, lending expertise and support as needed.

7. Agency Development: Contribute to the overall growth and success of the agency by sharing insights, ideas, and best practices. Actively engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our services and expand our reach.

Requirements:

- Valid registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse/Learning Disability Nurse with the NMC

- Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions, learning disabilities and autism

- Strong knowledge of person-centered care, care planning, and risk management.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

- Proactive and innovative with a strong ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing circumstances.

- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

- Passionate about providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health conditions , learning disabilities and autism
