Job description

With over 40 years’ experience within Sales and Lettings our client, a leading and independent Estate Agency, are currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join their team as Property Manager on a full time permanent basis from their newly decorated offices based in Churchdown, Gloucester.

Our client pride themselves on providing the highest level of customer service to all of their customers and are therefore looking for someone with experience working in a customer focused environment.

You will work closely alongside the Branch Manager and Property Coordinator and ideally have previous lettings experience however, our client is open to considering someone looking to get into the property industry with a keen desire to learn. Full training and support will be provided.

You must also have a full driving license and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities:
-Assisting with the day to day running of a portfolio of properties
-Managing and reporting maintenance issues and ensuring they are dealt with efficiently
-Communicating with clients and tenants
-Communicating with contractors
-Chasing overdue rents
-Booking and completing property visits
-Carrying out check out visits at the end of a tenancy
-Creating a comprehensive check out report for the return of the tenant’s deposit
-Negotiating deposit disputes

Candidate Attributes:
-Excellent customer service experience dealing with a variety of people
-Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
-Team player
-Organised and reliable with a proactive approach
-Ability to use own initiative with good problem solving skills

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 5:30pm + 1 in 4 Saturdays, 9am – 2pm with a whole day off in lieu.

Salary: Up to £30k per annum + free parking and annual summer & Christmas parties
