Full Time, Permanent, Deputy Children’s Home Manager (Learning Disabilities) job vacancy close to Leighton Buzzard area of Bedfordshire.

The Home & Your role You will become the Deputy Manager of a Children’s Home providing support Young People aged 11-19 years of age with Learning Disabilities & Autism.Supporting the Registered Manager, you will lead a team of Residential Support Workers, be a natural leader who is nurturing, encouraging, and guiding them in their roles. You assist in keeping the support we offer fresh, creative, and genuinely person centred.
Each child has their own distinct personality; however, they live well as a group too. The children are very happy and contented because the team provide a nurturing environment and spend quality time with the staff team.

- Qualified to Level 3 in Children & Young People.
- Experience of supporting vulnerable people with learning disabilities.
- Experience of supervising a team.
