Job description

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm (35 hours per week)

Interviews: TBC

Reporting to the IT Manager and working closely with the IT Operations Manager, you will lead a dedicated 2nd line technology team, to design, implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the business and its customers.

You will need a strong working knowledge and experience of cyber security, along with previous leadership or management experience. An example of some of your responsibilities includes:

Oversee the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and other critical technology components.

Provide support for 1st line escalation and cross-collaboration with IT Operations Manager, to ensure operational resilience and day to day support.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE 

Experience of leading and developing a technical team within IT security 

Proven experience in IT cyber security and infrastructure management with an in depth knowledge of cyber security principles, frameworks and best practice 

Experience of managing hosted and on-premise services and infrastructure

Knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 to an advanced level
