Job description
We are looking for a Domestic Cleaner in Huntingdon
Mon- Fri 5pm-8pm with alternate Saturdays
We are seeking a reliable and diligent Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure a clean and hygienic environment. The Domestic Cleaner will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including but not limited to dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise designated areas , including waiting areas, offices, and common areas
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty and clean trash and recycling bins
- Clean and disinfect restroom facilities
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Follow established guidelines for infection control and health and safety protocols
- Adhere to the Office policies and procedures
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cleaner or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy
- Good communication skills in order to effectively communicate with staff and patients
Standard DBS Required
