-Excellent monthly salary: 18,000 to 30,000 RMB depending on qualifications, experience and location

We are now holding interviews for qualified English teachers to teach at our kindergartens in the vibrant city of Shanghai in China. Our students are aged from 2 to 6 years old and we warmly welcome teachers who thrive on inspiring young English learners to join our creative team.

Our goal is to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. We strive to provide our students with a solid foundation in education and life skills, while also fostering their creativity, curiosity, and love of learning.
We pride ourselves on offering the highest educational standards. Our classes encourage children to explore, participate and cooperate in a caring and supportive kindergarten. Teachers will be teaching a maximum of 25 hours per week and participate in student’s activities for most of the day. Class size ranges from 20 to 30 students and you will make use of a variety of engaging teaching materials and methods including group work, music, activities, performances, art projects and much more. Communicating with parents to provide feedback periodically will also be one of the responsibilities.

On one side of the mighty Yangtze River flowing through Shanghai is the Pu Dong district, rural farm land just 20 years ago, it is now the financial and commercial hub with skyscrapers stretching ever higher. Along the western bank of the river, the iconic Bund is a reminder of Shanghai’s colonial past featuring grand European architecture.
For those who like to shop, party and eat, Shanghai has all you could possibly want and more. But despite its cosmopolitan reputation, pockets of quaint tradition remain alive and well, dotted throughout the city. Explore countless old markets, back streets crammed with local eateries and discover incense filled temples still central to the locals’ daily life.
-Maximum of 25 teaching hours per week with weekends off
-Maximum of 40 working hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm)
-Student age: 2 to 6
-Class size: 20 to 30 students
-Deliver an age-appropriate English language curriculum for kindergarten-aged children
-Incorporate creative and interactive teaching strategies to engage children in the learning process
-Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
-Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure that the English language program aligns with the school’s overall educational goals
-Attend meetings and training sessions as required
-Ensure that all teaching materials and resources are up-to-date, organized, and accessible
-Excellent monthly salary: 18,000 to 30,000 RMB depending on qualifications, experience and location
-Flight, visa document and hotel reimbursement on arrival up to 7,000 RMB
-Support with finding an apartment to rent
-11 Chinese public holidays + 1 month winter (half pay) & 2 months summer (no pay) vacation
-Legal ‘Z’ work visa provided
-Medical and accident insurance provided
-Contract renewal bonus: 5,000 RMB

-Pre-training provided: orientation, Chinese culture, Mandarin class, teaching methodology
-On-going training and academic support

-Bachelor’s degree or above required
-TEFL / CELTA / teaching license certificate (No TEFL? We recommend INTESOL )
-Previous teaching experience with young learners preferred
-Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland & South Africa
-Good knowledge of young learner educational theory preferred
-Cultural sensitivity, awareness, and willingness to explore other cultures
