The Role:
We are seeking a multi-skilled individual to take on the role of a Plant Maintenance Technician, to provide first line maintenance and repairs to a large scale, renewable energy facility and to maintain and operate the plant following policy and procedure.
Carry out repairs and maintenance on process pumps including Mono, Wangen, Grundfos and DODA units.
Carry out repairs and maintenance on a variety of gas handling equipment including blowers, compressors, upgrading units and filtration systems.
Carrying out full site PPM’s and managing the inspection regime with a software-based CMMS system.
Carrying out repairs by deploying fabrication and welding equipment.
Perform mechanical, electrical and C&I fault finding on a variety of process equipment using a mixture of conventional techniques, SCADA analysis, PLC fault finding and PID diagrams.
Write job cards and fault reports to a high standard using Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications and Skills
UK Driving Licence
Heavy industrial background as a technician is essential.
Experience of mechanical and fluid handling equipment and processes.
Must be willing to work with food waste.
Must use own initiative.
Ability to work with computers and technology.
Must have transferable skills.
