Project Coordinator (Livingston: Hybrid)
Head Resourcing is pleased to be working with one of the UK's leading retailers to find a qualified Project Coordinator to join their Information Technology team. Reporting directly to the Head of Project Management Office, the Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting key initiatives within the organisation.
Ideal candidates for this role will possess strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. They should excel in written, verbal, and visual communication, with the ability to effectively problem-solve and make decisions. The Project Coordinator must be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word; familiarity with MS Project, Smartsheet, and MS Visio preferred.
- Passion for project management and technology change.
- Prior experience in technology change projects desirable.
- Bachelor's Degree in a business or technology-related field preferred.
- Project management certification desirable.
- Financial analysis or accounting experience desirable.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Teams desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in defining project scope, estimating costs, and securing necessary resources.
- Support the preparation of project documentation, including scope documents, charters, and project plans.
- Liaise with various departments to ensure seamless intake of new requests and manage tools for team collaboration.
- Coordinate activities between external partners, vendors, and internal resources.
- Record and distribute meeting minutes, follow up on action items and issues, and manage status reporting and cost monitoring.
- Motivate and inspire team members; support end-user documentation, training, and change management efforts.
- Manage issue logs, track performance metrics, and support the tracking of benefits and outcomes.
- Assist in preparations for operational handovers to Support teams.

Salary
- Up to £30k
- 8% pension
- 28 days annual leave plus public on top
Hybrid working
