These include agricultural solutions, automotive refinish paints, acrylic monomers, fine chemicals, intermediate chemicals, speciality chemicals, dispersions, and plastics. The sales centre for BASF plc and the business service functions for all BASF Group companies operating in the UK, are located in Stockport, Greater Manchester, the headquarters of the BASF Group in the UK. BASF plc is an agent for BTC Europe GmbH, our pan-European in-house distributor, focused on speciality chemicals and performance polymers. As well as the headquarters in Stockport, BASF plc has sites in Alfreton, Bradford, Widnes and Bury St Edmunds.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As Campaign Manager in BASF Agricultural Solutions, you will be the lead for your sector/s within the demand creation team, planning, championing and leading clear, focused campaigns.

• Create integrated marketing campaign strategies and implementation plans tailored to specific customer segments, effectively utilising key channels to achieve campaign objectives.
• Develop robust understanding of lead brands’ technical benefits and target markets to optimise campaign messages and delivery.
• Collaborate with a dedicated cross functional team to ensure efficient, appropriate and effective delivery of desired outcomes and outputs.
• Lead and manage external agency relationships and budget to optimise resources.
• Utilise market insights and campaign metrics to test, monitor and evaluate campaign effectiveness to inform current and future campaign development.
• Leverage CRM to manage and extract customer insight and where appropriate, create  target groups and segmented offers to drive customer engagement.
• Ensure all deliverables align with our brand standards and strategic goals.
• Continuously monitor in-market and competitor activities to identify actionable opportunities for optimising campaigns and creating demand.
• Take responsibility for personal development in marketing, staying updated on current trends and technologies to enhance role and campaign performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You are educated to degree level in Agriculture, Life Science or Marketing/Business, with extensive marketing experience (ideally but not essentially from the Crop Protection or other Agricultural industry).
• You have a good understanding of the agricultural industry and the needs of growers and agronomists (direct experience interacting with growers and agronomists would be preferable).
• The BASIS qualification (certificate in Crop Protection) would be preferable.
• You are customer-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be able to show good commercial awareness and entrepreneurial flair when creating marketing campaigns.
• You possess a valid UK driving license, as overnight travel is required.
• Please note: This role is office-based in accordance with our hybrid working policy, but we may consider exceptional UK home-based candidates with extensive relevant experience.
