Are you a Qualified Teacher or an ECT looking for an extremely rewarding role?

Academics are joining forces with a vibrant and exciting specialist school near Erdington, Birmingham in their search for a SEND Teacher. This consistently Outstanding school since 2001, caters to pupils aged 2-19 years old, and strives to ensure that all pupils’ individual needs are met through a highly personalised curriculum. This curriculum operates from the developmental equivalent of 3-6 months old to the National curriculum for Year 6/7 pupils so the successful applicant(s) must be flexible in their approach and teaching methods.

The successful SEND Teacher would be to deliver innovative and creative lesson plans that will meet the differing needs of the children in your care. You will need good interpersonal skills as you will be the first point of call for children in your care and be expected to liaise with support staff and parents/guardians to ensure pupils get the highest quality education and care.

Role Requirements for you, as the SEND TEacher:

* Qualified Teacher Status is compulsory.
* Be able to plan and/or deliver creative and exciting lesson plans to a smaller-sized class.
* A caring individual with energy, drive and enthusiasm.
* Ability to work as part of team, alongside teaching and support staff

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status
* DBS on the update service or willing to get one.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Prior experience working with/caring for SEND pupils with learning delays, physical disabilities, and/or Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities.
