Job description

Are you an Estimator that would like to work on high profile projects?

Have you experience working on projects ranging from £25 - £100M?

Have you got experience working with main contractors?

As part of their continued growth, they are now seeking a skilled and experienced Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity with one of the largest international construction groups.

As the Estimator you will:

• Arrange site inspections.
• Provide accurate budgets/cost plans.
• Provide detailed "take-off" and Bill of Quantities (BQ)
• Work on traditional Plan and Specification, Design and Build and possibly Partnered Contracts.
• Obtain competitive prices for materials and sub-contract packages.
• Oversee or complete quote analysis comparisons.
• Check and amend rate/price build-ups where necessary.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
