SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: South East London
Salary: £90 - £100 per day
Contract: Full-time

As an integral part of the team, the SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide individualised support to students. You will play a vital role in promoting inclusive practices, assisting with academic tasks, and supporting students with social and emotional development. A tailored approach to the individual child ensures that every student can reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment.
Responsibilities - Establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with pupils to support them during their time at school.
- Promote and encourage independence and personal development in pupils and maintain high expectations of behaviour at all times.
- Showing a commitment to professional development in the field of SEN.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to work collaboratively within a multi-professional team.
What you will need to succeed
- GCSE Maths and English Language qualification minimum Grade 4 or equivalent is essential.
- Level 2 - 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or working towards).
- Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
- Knowledge and experience of pupils with SEMH, ASD.
