Senior Project Manager
We are currently working with a leading multi-discplined building services provider who are currently seeking Project Manager with M&E building services experience to join their highly skilled team.
The role of the Senior Project Manager is to lead multiple projects and project teams. This includes high level planning and taking control of the operational, tactical, and financial aspects of multiple projects to accurately report revenue and cost streams. The role is also to ensure that all activities are in line with health and safety and ISO procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Health and safety
- Manages the day to day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large-scale projects.
- Oversees staff working on client engagements.
- Reviews deliverables across projects
- Implements engagement review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with methodology to ensure profitable and successful execution of projects, as measured by regional goals and customer satisfaction.
- Minimise exposure and risk across projects.
- Manage scope and mitigate risks.
- Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure accurate invoicing, and monitoring receivables for all projects under his/her direction.
- Integrate financial data for projects.
- Compare financial data for projects to that of other projects and seek ways to maximise revenue.
- Analyse profitability, revenue, and margins
- Manage and achieve revenue goals set for projects.
- Accurately forecast revenue, profitability, and margins across projects
- Set expectations upward regarding revenue and profitability projections.
- Serve as key participant in team and client meetings.
- Confront issues openly and quickly.
- Effectively communicate relevant project/practice information to superiors and peers
- Tactfully communicate sensitive information
- Handle difficult personnel situations directly, using appropriate discretion, HR advice and respect for the individual.
- Assist in the evaluation and redesign of offerings.
- Possess a thorough understanding of service offerings, technical preferences, and technical direction.
- Challenge others to develop as leaders while clarifying roles and responsibilities.
