Job description

Develop and deliver an engaging and impactful internal communications programme that helps employees feel connected, informed and motivated to deliver great results that support our continued business growth (to be presented and measured as part of the overall Corporate Affairs Strategic Plan).

• Oversee development and governance of intranet (with IT and HR) and lead on delivery of internal news programme/calendar (delegating to Content Co-ordinator as relevant)
• Plan, deliver and continuously improve quarterly all-company webcasts
• Work closely with HR to produce strong narratives to drive employer brand work, I & D strategy and event programme, communications on our Purpose and Values and other priorities for employee engagement
• Enhance factory comms programme and introduce better measurement of its impact
• Support/lead on key internal communications projects (E.g. sustainability comms, change management) as required, working with teams from across the business
• Support the Director of Corporate Affairs & Sustainability on the delivery of CEO/leadership comms (e.g. videos, leadership briefings) acting as a trusted advisor to senior team
• Effectively brief and manage internal communications agency and other third-party resources such as translation and design agencies
• Alongside other team members, build strong internal relationships and ensure there is regular interaction with our market communications network
• Work closely with the Senior Corporate Affairs Manager/Corporate Affairs Manager to ensure internal communications activity is integrated with the external communications programme and that there is efficient and effective use of content across different audiences
• Manage weekly reporting process across all key metrics
• Provide high quality tools and templates that can be used or adapted for local comms, also develop and deliver internal communications training as required to build capabilities in the markets

• Experience in planning, managing and delivering internal communications in a modern, fast paced communications team/department
• Hands on experience of digital comms/intranet management experience
• Speech/script writing/video production
• Experience of leadership communications and interacting with senior leaders
• Experience of working across Europe/globally
