Are you a School Cook Manager looking for a new role?

ENHANCED DBS WILL BE REQUIRED

We're currently recruiting a passionate Cook/Cook Manager, to manage a Primary School kitchen in Matlock. You will be responsible for making approximately 50 delicious and healthy school dinners, using fresh produce.

Location: Matlock
Salary offered: £13.50 per hour
Working hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 2:30pm (School term time only)
NO WEEKENDS REQUIRED

Objectives:

• To operate and develop the catering establishment within the terms of their catering policy, contract and budget, making the most efficient use of their resources
• To ensure that the company's reputation for food quality and service is enhanced with the Client and customers.
• To administer unit controls and keep company records.
• To recruit, train and manage the location staff.

Responsibilities:

• All personnel assigned to work in the catering establishment, irrespective of whether or not they are employees of the Company, in accordance with Company Personnel and Training Policies.
• The purchase of materials, consumables, non-consumables and light equipment within the limits of the budget and in accordance with Company Purchasing Policy and Procedures.
• The catering establishment's premises and equipment, as defined by the contract and in accordance with Company Hygiene Health and Safety Policy.
