Key Responsibilities: - Lead and coordinate orthopedic surgical procedures in the operating theatre, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, efficiency, and quality of care.
- Provide expert clinical guidance and support to theatre staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff, to ensure seamless coordination of patient care throughout the surgical journey.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of surgical procedures, adhering to regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Requirements: - Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
- Extensive experience working in orthopedic theatres, with a thorough understanding of orthopedic surgical procedures and perioperative care.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced surgical environment.
