The successful candidate for the above role will transfer to an EPMC contract. i.e. if you are a Jaguar employee you will be administered on the EPMC grading structure with the associated terms and conditions.

The Material Planning and Logistics (MP&L) team are expanding in size and capability to meet this demand in company growth.

As a Material Flow Analyst, you will be a part of this change within JLR becoming a fully electric company. Your primary responsibility will entrust you with pillars of ownership and be a matter expert for set functions within manufacturing. Taking responsibility and using your prior knowledge and capability of problem solving to improve manufacturing areas. You will interact with multiple teams; therefore, communication is essential as you'll interact with multiple teams.

Key Accountabiltiies & Responsibiltiies

• You will have pillars of ownership and be a matter expert when tasked with ensuring efficiency, problem solving, and process improvement on our manufacturing shop floor
• Control of MP&L material areas
• Implementation and measurement of Value Stream Map processes to achieve optimum balance between, inventory holding and marketplace space for current and forward programs
• Guarantee implementation of line back flow systems from fit point to supplier
• Work with colleagues to assist with the achievement of MP&L strategy for all functions to provide assistance to international vehicle and local programmes
• Work with colleagues on the development of logistics requirements and material flow strategies, ensuring that JLR are following Best in Class Logistics solutions
• Assist in the robust programme delivery and strategy execution to assist a flawless daily operations and future programme launches

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Essential :

• SAP/MRP - specifically material flow configuration and routing
• Good analytical skills, including statistical analysis and advanced MS Excel Skills
• Experience of Industrial Planning and Logistics
• Process mapping and design
• Practical Problem-solving techniques and benefit contribution
