Job description
Our client is an established supplier of quality garments to the UK high street. An opening has recently arisen within their dynamic team, for a bright and ambitious junior account manager.
Within this role you will work closely with and provide essential support to the account management team, product development team and sales director. The main responsibilities are to ensure smooth running of the office and the critical path, and the administrative management of the office.
KEY RESPOSIBILITIES:
Overseeing the critical path to ensure weekly updates are sent to all clients/departments by the factories.
Driving approval process to ensure critical path dates are maintained.
Providing support to senior team members with daily tasks & administrative support when required.
Management of all parcels/post.
Management of diary, scheduling meetings/appointments.
Managing office supplies & equipment.
Support the Account managers in coordinating sample requests and managing the sample library.
Assist with approvals and sample process. Chasing these and keeping on top of email approvals.
Management of samples kept in storage/showroom and sending out to other offices.
Assist with showroom set up and meeting preparation.
Take ownership of the critical path, meticulously monitoring and managing key dates to ensure timely completion of tasks.
The ideal candidate will have:
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Competency in office applications, especially excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent organization and communication skills.
Excellent time management skills, demonstrating an ability to effectively prioritize tasks, multitask and manage projects with deadlines
Understanding of the product development cycle and critical path process.
