CHANNEL MARKETING EXECUTIVE

Charterhouse Recruitment are proud to again be partnering with a very well-established business based in Castleford. Our client is a global brand, and they are the leading manufacturer in their field.

This role will focus on working closely with the company sales team to focus on increasing sales opportunities and ensuring the sales team have the marketing support they need.

• Salary is between £26k to £32k DOE.
• Monday to Friday working hours.
• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays

A SNAPSHOT OF THE CHANNEL MARKETING EXECUTIVE’S DAY:

• Working closely with the sales team, you will act as a bridge between sales and marketing with the customer always in mind.
• Working with the wider marketing team, create and manage the sales / operational marketing plan that aid the sales team in driving new business and generating business leads.
• Create and deliver promotional plans to optimise brand sales.
• Craft and shape effective messaging to be used when communications with customers.
• Research relevant events and exhibitions that would be beneficial for the team to attend, and what marketing materials would be needed for this.
• Overseeing customer journeys and developing new customer strategies, such as customer demonstrations, customer portals etc.
• Work on NPD launches for specific sales campaigns.
• Optimise sales potential by looking at loyalty promotions, customer targeting, and more!

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a professional Marketing role with a focus on sales / commercial / operational activity.
• Ideally having a relevant marketing qualification.
• Ideally having experience in B2B Marketing.
• Commercially aware and able to work closely with a sales team.
• A confident communicator and able to present to people at all levels.
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
• User of all MS Office applications and knowledge of relevant marketing tools.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills.
