Job Introduction
As a Guided Tours Facilitator at Sodexo in Cambridge - CB2 0AA , You'll will be responsible in supporting with the successful planning, facilitation and execution of the guided tours as well as hosting them. You have a keen eye for detail, and your organisational skills will ensure everything runs like clockwork. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do:
- Work closely with the Guided Tours Lead, Campus Events Conferencing Manager and Head of Workplace Experience to ensure smooth running and communication of the process
- Regular calls with the Guided Tours team to ensure a consistent service delivery
- To be an “Oracle” for the Discovery Centre and all aspects of the Guided Tour content
- To administrate the booking process from initial request through to the end of the Guided Tours
- To facilitate all aspects of the Guided Tours to include visitor bookings and equipment control
- To train Host Champions to be able to complete the Guided Tours
- To support Host Champions with physical guidance and signposting
- Meticulously manage the calendars for the Guided Tours and support the calendar management for the Cambridge Campus.
- To be the principal deputy for Guided Tours Lead when required
- Support the administration process for the Campus Booking process
- Complete any reasonable request as requested by management
What you bring:
- Confident in presenting to an audience of up to 20 participants
Ability to work under own initiative
Strong administration skills including proficiency in Microsoft Applications
Excellent interpersonal skills including effective listening
