Prospectus is excited to be supporting Barnardo’s, the leading children's charity in the UK, as they search for a new Senior Individual Giving Manager – Stewardship & Development.
Barnardo’s runs over 1,000 UK projects that transform the lives of almost 300,000 children and young people every year. They believe they can bring out the best in every child regardless of the issues they face. Their work supports children living in poverty, children that have been sexually exploited, children living with a disability, children living with domestic violence and young carers who look after an ill parent or relative.
The Senior Individual Giving Manager is responsible for driving the growth of Barnardo's Individual Giving income and leading the Acquisition or Stewardship and Development team to acquire and retain supporters and to maximise their loyalty and lifetime value. You will lead the development of the Individual Giving strategy and manage the acquisition or stewardship and development team of 6-10 people, overseeing their targets, KPIs and objectives. You will also be responsible for managing a portfolio of products to maximise fundraising opportunities. You will manage multi-million income and expenditure budgets.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their success in Individual Giving and meeting significant income targets. You will have experience in planning, implementing and evaluating Individual Giving campaigns across a wide range of media and managing budgets of 5-6 figures. You will be a great communicator and will flourish and maintain strong relationships with both your team and external agencies.
This role is permanent and has an annual salary of £43,225 to £55,575. Barnardo’s have flexible working at the heart of what they do to ensure that people feel included and valued, and that they remain EDI focused. This role will be remote, with an office hub in Lynton House.
