Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Student Support Assistant to join our school. 

Job Grade 7 Scale 12 to 19 - Actual Salary £22,762.71 to £ 25,654.03.

Hours are Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm and Friday 8.30 – 4.00pm. 

37 hours per week with ½ unpaid lunch break. Term time only plus an additional week.

The post holder will provide support for students, parents and staff in one of the House offices.

Duties will include: Perform the administrative function of the House Office. Including attendance of students, reports, assisting the Senior Tutor (Head of House), general administration, liaising with outside agencies and parents, and the pastoral support of the students. This is a vital role within our House structure. We are looking for an experienced administrator, with experience of working with young people on a regular basis. This role will suit a positive, out going personality who want to pastorally support student’s day to day, and someone who can communicate confidently with parents. The candidate would be expected to attend a first aid course and then join the rota.
