Job description
This is an opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Science teacher to take up a position within our team. The candidate would be joining a strong, friendly, hard-working, and supportive team. The Department takes a collaborative approach and values each individual’s skills, interests and strategies for teaching and learning. At Therfield School Key Stage 3 students are taught Science as one subject with specific units on biology, chemistry, and physics topics. At Key stage 4 students follow one of two pathways: separate science GCSE’s in biology, chemistry and physics or combined science. For both pathways’ students are taught biology, chemistry, and physics as individual subjects by specialist teachers.
At Key stage 5 we offer A level’s in biology, chemistry and physics.
