Engineering Apprentice

SO, WHAT’S THE STORY?
Our product is steeped in history, and it is our role as brand custodians to protect it. The first boot, created by Engineers, started the iconic legacy we now have, and looking to the future, engineering is key to delivering the next 60 years. We’re looking to further build our capability in this space with an Apprentice Engineer who will sit as part of our Global Supply Chain team reporting into our Prototype engineer.
THE GIG
Our Engineering team have been making tools and moulds since we started, and as we move forward, we want to protect this skillset, as well as looking to new more modern ones for future production. As the Engineering Apprentice, you’ll be paired with our most experienced engineers, to help you learn, develop and grow. The future is going to be in your hands, its going to be hands on and dirty work, but a good mix of old school machining, problem solving, and modern CNC analysis.
As our Apprentice Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Support production of moulds, jigs, and ancillary equipment
- Supporting Prototype engineers in their work, inc. planning & evaluation of work
- Support, maintain and improve current production.
- Support the research and development to trial of new processes and technologies.
