- £11.85 an hour
We are seeking Teaching Assistants who are looking for flexible work. Within this role you can be flexible and choose when you want to work and you may work in various schools, which would enable you to gain experience of a wide variety of schools. This is a great way to get experience if you are seeking a career within education. As a Teaching Assistant you will be working within the class to support the class teacher with the teaching and learning, and you may be asked to work on a 1-1 basis with SEN students, or students with behavioural needs.
To be successful in this role it is desirable if you:
- Have experience working within a school or childcare setting
- Have experience working with children and/or adults with learning difficulties including ADHD, SEMH and ASC.
- Have a good understanding of Special Educational Needs, or a willingness to learn
- Have the ability to engage pupils in their learning and support them in their social, emotional and personal wellbeing

- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
