Job description
LUHFT has set ambitious net zero targets. The team is building capacity to ensure the trust has the right skills and attributes to meeting the demanding net zero and wider sustainability agenda. The Net Zero Energy Officer will play a key role within the Sustainability Team at Liverpool University Hospitals, whilst completing the Level 3 Junior Energy Manager Apprenticeship. This role is a two-year fixed-term contract. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team of energy and sustainability professionals within the Estates and Facilities Department. Day to day management will be provided by the Head of Sustainability within the trust. This includes providing projects to manage and supporting the training that will be provided by an external apprenticeship management company. At least 20% of the successful applicants role will consist of formal training.
