Joining the Medical Staffing Team as Medical Staffing Advisor will offer you the opportunity to gain specialist knowledge and experience in a HR field that is unique to the NHS.

The team is responsible for all aspects of HR activity for medical staff including Employee Relations, GMC Revalidation and Workforce Compliance. 

Working within a team of over 20 you will have access to options to work flexibly on a pattern of a "nine day fortnight" and will have the ability to work from home on around 1/3rd of your working shifts. 

Main duties of the job

Within this role you will provide an effective operational HR advice service for doctors in training, Consultant, Staff and Associate Specialist grades and locally employed doctors. This includes oversight of offers of employment and pre-employment check process, processing payroll actions, overseeing absence and advising on Trust policy.

You will be responsible for specified clinical areas and will work with your allocated Recruitment Advisor(s) in the provision of the recruitment for your specific clinical area of responsibility.
