Job Description: Maintenance Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at our St Helens location in the United Kingdom. As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations and ensuring the optimal functioning of all equipment and machinery.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement maintenance procedures and processes to ensure optimal functioning of equipment and machinery
Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities to ensure they are completed safely and efficiently
Manage the maintenance budget and ensure that all expenses are within budgetary constraints
Monitor equipment inventory and place orders for new equipment and parts as needed
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards
Manage and train a team of maintenance technicians and other staff members
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role
In-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures and processes
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a team of maintenance technicians and other staff members
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
