Job description
Excellent opportunity for an experienced HR officer to join a friendly and successful law firm with a strong market presence in the South West. The firm have been ranked in the 100 Best Companies to Work For in the UK list for seven consecutive years.
Based in the firm Exeter office, although hybrid working is available with 2-3 days from home, you will be joining a friendly and dynamic team.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract, and they are looking for a start date of late January/early February 2024.
The successful candidate will report to the HR Manager, and will be responsible for providing a high quality HR service to their people.
This role is a generalist HR role and will encompass the full HR mix, including recruitment & selection, wellbeing & employee engagement, absence management, family friendly policies, compliance related tasks and project management. There is also an opportunity for this role to have a focus on recruitment if you so wish.
To apply for this role you should be a HR officer or equivalent who has the ability to manage and support all aspects of the HR mix, and you will have a good up to date understanding of employment law. You will also have experience of using an HRIS or similar.
A minimum of 2 years recent experience working as an HR Officer or equivalent is essential and ideally you will have worked in professional services, ideally in a law firm. Full or part CIPD qualified is preferred.
Salary up to £28,000 and this is a 12 month fixed term contract.
