Logistics Planner
Location: Christchurch, Dorset
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm
We are recruiting for a Logistics Planner to join a well-established business with offices located in Poole and Christchurch, Dorset.
As a Logistics Planner you will be required to deliver accurate planning of customer orders through DC, RCC and Dropship (e-commerce) channels.
Continuous review of customer order books, current stock levels and inbound stock will allow you to successfully plan, group, release and book workloads with the warehouse team to deliver customer orders on time and in full.
You will also help to update the WMS with setup required for successful receipt and distribution of the customer accounts under your remit.
Main Responsibilities:
Logistics planning and co-ordination of customer orders from point of receipt through to delivery
Keeping yourself informed and up to date on any issues that could contribute to customer deliveries being delayed
Contribute to the maintenance of training manuals.
Keeping the business informed of current logistics plans and any obstacles in achieving delivery deadlines.
Deliver a positive and calm approach to problem solving.
In order to be successful in this role, you need to have the following skills/experience:
Proven Logistics planning experience
Proven WMS experience
Proven ERP experience
Proficient with Excel & Outlook
