Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and energetic Nanny for an ultra-high net worth family based in their home in Radlett, Hertfordshire. This family of four are looking to appoint a dedicated team-player to join their team on a permanent, live-out basis and would also require the Nanny to travel with them during school holidays.

A busy family with two children, aged 2 years and the youngest being 4 months, this role requires someone with a flexible, can-do attitude. The role will be largely focused on managing the children’s schedules, getting them ready for the day, feeding, bathing and all other nursery duties. Cooking for the children and arranging fun activities for the children will also be included in the daily duties.

The ideal candidate is a traditional Nanny who is confident, able to work on their own initiative, highly organised as well as being knowledgeable with regards to child development. They would like the Nanny to nurture the children to have great experiences; they are happy with playdates and outings but these need to be balanced with fun and interesting activities.

The working week will be Thursday – Monday and working hours may vary on a day to day basis, so flexibility for this role is key. Prior experience within a high-net-worth household is preferable and a driving license would be a bonus but is not essential.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Feeding, bedtime and bath time routines
• Getting children ready for nursery
• Potty training
• Cooking for the children
• Organising playdates and activities for the children
• Keeping the children’s rooms and play areas tidy
• Providing healthy and nutritious snacks for the children

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior private Nanny experience in a high-net-worth household
• Qualifications or childcare related training are essential
• Good knowledge of child development and milestones
• Flexibility to travel with the family during school holidays
• Well-mannered and a pleasure to have around
• Organised and methodical
• Lots of initiative, creative and playful
• Excellent English
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Excellent checkable references
