The Employer is: CRISSCROSS REMOVALS AND STORAGE.
As a Removals Porter, you'll play a pivotal role in our moving team, ensuring that both domestic and commercial relocations are executed smoothly and professionally. Working under the guidance of the team leader, you'll be involved in the hands-on aspects of moving, packing, and transportation, all while prioritising customer satisfaction..
Responsibilities
- Safely and proficiently pack, wrap, and transport a wide variety of items, including furniture, for our clients.
- Efficiently load and unload the company's vans/lorries, ensuring goods are secure and protected.
- Utilize a range of packing materials and techniques to safely pack customer belongings.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring their needs are met.
- Collaborate on both domestic and commercial removal projects.
- Take apart and reassemble household furnishings when necessary.
- Accurately complete essential paperwork associated with each removal task.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe environment for both team members and clients.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of company vehicles, ensuring they reflect our commitment to excellence.
- Collaborate and contribute positively as an integral member of our skilled removal team.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle items with care.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
- Please note this is a physically demanding role, packing, lifting, and moving items.
- A commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
- A team-oriented mindset, focused on collective success.
Desirable Skills
- Previous Removals Experience.
- Previous drivers mate experience - guiding van and lorry drivers.

Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended, and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
