Vetro Nursing has an immediate Community Nursing opportunity for Learning Disabilities or Mental Health nurses within the Swansea Bay area.

• Location: Swansea Bay
• General Pay: £20.00 to £33.00 per hour (PAYE) £25.86 to £42.07 per hour (FCSA Accredited Umbrella)
• Shifts: Days, Nights and weekends

The role: What will you do as a Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD)

We have ongoing, flexible shifts available with either full or part-time hours to suit your availability. You will provide therapeutic care and support to patients, providing a first class service and commitment to making a difference in the lives of these patients and their families.

Duties will include:

- Care co-ordination
- Care and treatment planning
- Assessment and treatment of mental health and behaviours that challenge
- Assessment and treatment of individuals who have a learning disability and complex physical health needs
- Transitioning young people with a learning disability to adult services who require input in relation to continuing health care and complex placements
- Dementia screening and early intervention where people cannot access mainstream services
- Supporting health promotion and health facilitation as a means to reduce health inequalities of people who have a learning disability
- Carry out physical nursing skills e.g. health assessment, depot medication, venepuncture and attendance at epilepsy and health clinics.

The candidate: What you'll need as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)

• You must be an RNLD with at least 6 months UK experience
• You must hold a valid NMC PIN
• Up-to-date training certificates
• UK Resident
• You must have the right to work in UK
