Location: Greenwich
Salary: £140 - £240 per day
Start Date: ASAP, February 2024
Contract Type: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent
Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact? Look no further! We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team of educators at secondary schools in Greenwich as an English Teacher .
Responsibilities as an English Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and dynamic English lessons that foster a love for the subject
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in English language and literature
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to diverse student needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the English curriculum
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the overall educational experience
Requirements as an English Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching English at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
