About the Role
We now have an excellent opportunity for a skilled Recruitment Coordinator to join our HR team on an initial 18 month fixed term basis.
This role will have a direct impact on Diamond’s ongoing performance and development, including for our multi-million-pound Diamond-II upgrade project, by helping to ensure we are best placed to attract talented staff within Science, Engineering, IT and a range of other disciplines.
The Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for making a tangible difference to hiring manager’s recruitment experience by providing high-quality support and advice on the full recruitment life cycle, including assisting with advertising, planning candidate attraction strategies, arranging interviews and overseeing the progress of recruitment campaigns.
You will also work to make Diamond as attractive as possible to candidates both on a vacancy-by-vacancy basis, and through assisting in employee brand and process development initiatives.

About You
Above anything else, this role requires somebody that is highly organised, proactive, self-confident and with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You should have experience from a UK recruitment environment, including providing recruitment advice and support, implementing effective candidate attraction strategies, writing engaging adverts, reviewing CVs and arranging interviews.
You will demonstrate knowledge of recruitment best practice including understanding candidate attraction techniques, along with broad knowledge of the legal context that impacts UK recruitment.
You will have a good academic background, particularly in English, while REC or CIPD qualifications are desirable.
