We are seeking an experienced Simulation Engineer to join our friendly team to be based in either UK, Denmark or Netherlands .
As a Simulation Engineer , you will use your exceptional Engineering skills and deep expertise in simulation and mastery of Python to meticulously craft and maintain intricate simulation models that accurately mirror our complex manufacturing and operational processes .
Key Responsibilities –
Additionally, to the duties above you will be responsible for –
Data Collection and Analysis: As the data maestro, you will orchestrate the collection and analysis of data from diverse sources, leveraging Python for statistical analysis and data visualization to unearth valuable insights.
Optimization : Put your Python skills to work in identifying opportunities for optimization within our workflows, resource allocation, and scheduling, ensuring seamless operations and resource utilization .
Process Improvement: Collaboration with cross-functional teams to spot areas for process enhancement will be a primary focus, and your Python-based strategies will be pivotal in driving operational efficiency.
Technological Innovation: Stay at the forefront of technological advances in simulation, Python, and industrial engineering, and utilize your Python expertise to enrich our models and processes
We are looking for –
Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering , Operations Research, or a related field.
Exceptional proficiency in Python programming, with a track record of Python-centric simulation modelling .
Extensive experience with Python-based simulation software (e.g., SimPy , AnyLogic , Arena).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to make data-driven decisions, underpinned by Python expertise .
Proven project management and teamwork capabilities.
Sound understanding of manufacturing and operational processes.
Proficiency in Python-based statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
Experience with Python libraries for machine learning and data analysis.
Familiarity with Python-based process optimization techniques.
Previous experience in the manufacturing or logistics industry.
