This Global FinTech, valued at over $20bn is recruiting for Senior Legal Counsel. The role can be remote, with only very occasional travel to their offices, either in London or the Midlands.
The Legal Department supports all global locations outside of the United States including UK, Ireland, Continental Europe, AMEA and LATAM. These activities include drafting and negotiation of complex agreements, reviewing legal documents and other general legal matters. The Senior Legal Counsel role will have a particular focus on a move to cloud-based solutions and expansion within the AMEA region.
You will provide legal advice and recommendations to executives, management and teams within the wider business on complex and strategic legal issues across multiple areas (contract law, data protection, intellectual property, corporate, legal risk, litigation, compliance) of the relevant business and internationally, demonstrating expert knowledge of diverse legal matters and exercising judgement within corporate procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.
It is likely you will have at least 6 years PQE in the above areas. Experience in a FinTech business is preferable but not an absolute requirement.
The role is remote, with only occasional office time required. Although applicants are welcome to visit the office more regularly, should they wish. You will also benefit from an excellent salary and benefits package.
