Job description

Pulse are currently seeking a determined band 8a Clinical Psychologist to be welcomed into our client’s Palliative care team, based in the NHS trust based in Coventry, Warwickshire. This position will be available for the appointed Clinical Psychologist to start as soon as possible, working part-time hours for a 6-month period.

The Clinical Psychologist will undertake assessments, formulate care plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions for adults with complex mental health needs. The post holder will play a crucial role in supporting patients facing life-limiting illnesses and their families. The successful psychologist will provide evidence-based psychological interventions, counselling, and emotional support to help individuals cope with the emotional, psychological, and existential challenges that often arise during palliative care.
