• Salary:£32k to £38k
• Location:Hastings
• Hours:Monday to Thursday  08:00-17:00, Fri 08:00-13:00 (39hrs per week)
• Benefits:   Over time

My client is looking for three CNC Programmers, Setters and Operators with experience of sliding head turning, 3, 4 and  5 axis milling and fixed-head turning to support its expanding  hi-tech precision engineering business working for industries such as civil and defence aerospace, opto-electronics, marine, sensors, telecommunications, motorsport and medical products.

The long established manufacturing Hi-Vac company, has three new openings for mechanical engineers using a variety of CNC machines with experience of using recognised measuring equipment and quality inspection.

The roles include a mixture of:

• CNC programming using both CAD/CAM software and manual programming.
• Production of NPI ‘First Run’ (new product) ensuring that best possible programming /workholding and tooling solutions are being used.
• Operation and management of machines during production runs, ensuring high standards of quality are always maintained.
• Post-production kitting and inspection of tooling for wear or damage.
• Carrying out the TPM process for daily, weekly, and monthly machine maintenance.
• Ensuring all records are updated, all actions are recorded and reported.
