It is situated at the University’s Old Road Campus, giving it ready access to major medical research institutes such as the Clinical Trials Service Unit, the Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health, and the NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre. We are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to carry out bioethics research on a discrete area within the broader research themes of the Ethox Centre. You will manage your own academic research and administrative activities, collaborate in the preparation of research publications, develop ideas for generating research income, and contribute to the wider academic activities of the Ethox Centre. You will hold or be close to completion of a relevant PhD/DPhil and possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within established research programmes. You will have the ability to manage your own academic research and have previous experience of contributing to publications/ presentations. This is a full time (part time considered), fixed term until 31 March 2025. The closing date for applications is noon on 18 March 2024.
