Job description
We are currently working with an extremely reputable, family-run SME who are actively seeking a Sales Estimator to join their team based in Caersws , Wales. As a Sales Estimator your role will be to provide a support to the sales team in sourcing and analysing prices of products for live enquiries that have been secured by the marketing department. You will also liaise with the sales team on pricing for each project and once confirmed to prepare the details for the admin section to process.
Key duties and responsibilities....
- Primary role is to ensure that all enquiries are processed and priced where feasible, using standard products if possible and pricing for bespoke work where required. To constantly ensure that we are achieving best prices available by running price comparisons with potential new suppliers.
- To assist in setting up and maintaining appropriate record systems for tracking and monitoring quotations/enquiries received.
- Ensuring quotes are issued as required by clients i.e. Daily run through outstanding quotes with Sales team, assessing priority and scheduling as appropriate. Responsible for organising/re-prioritising workload when others are on leave/not available.
- Responsible for ensuring that clients who have sent in enquiries are given, a first class enquiry-customer-service and in almost all cases, initial email and/or telephone acknowledgement and any further necessary update contact with same client and realistic submission dates
- Taking any calls from clients regarding their enquiries.
- Liaison with Sales team/ Operations team to help with costings, technical and any conformity issues.
