Subject Lead for Primary English

Hartland International School seeks to appoint an exceptional Subject Lead for Primary English to support our provision across this phase of the school.

The school which opened in September 2015, has already established a reputation for excellence in learning, teaching and leadership in the region. The Post

Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers who are passionate and forward thinking and who will thrive in the vibrant learning environment of Hartland. By being ambitious, not only for students but for yourself, you will help us build and maintain a successful programme of study in the Primary School by sharing in the responsibility for teaching, learning, enrichment and pastoral care. You will also be expected to make a contribution to our unique and strong enrichment programme which ensures that learning and opportunity are diverse for all. Most importantly, the successful candidate will ensure delivery of the school’s core English curriculum in a way that maximises student achievement and contributes to the whole school commitment to outstanding outcomes.

The successful candidate will:

•      Hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification

•      Have experience of primary teaching whether that be in the UK or in an international setting

•      Have a minimum 4 years teaching experience including English lead experience

•      Have exceptional communication skills that will enable implementation of strategy, planning and delivery to students, staff and parents

•      Be committed to the Hartland Values which can be found on our website
