Job description
Driver Hire Romford are looking to recruit a class 2 driver for ongoing work with a well established company in the Thurrock area.

Job Specification:
- You would be joining an established, leading independent UK distributor. You’ll be the face of the business providing a professional front line service to their customers, ensuring the transport and delivery of goods to customers is in a safe and timely manner.
- Transporting goods and deliveries to their intended destinations. You will be delivering glass. You will not be required to lift or carry the glass, you will need to safely move the glass to the edge of the vehicle for your team members to transport the glass to the client.
- Based in Thurrock
- You will be with a drivers mate
- Start time – 7–7:30am – Finish 5pm ( Monday to Friday )
- Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.
- Using your knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time.
- Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.
. What you need:
- A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence
- Up to date CPC & Tacho
- Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.
- Knowledge of local region.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, and will be open to new learning and ideas.
- Previous experience in handling glass.
- Ability to work well with others
- Own transport to get to and from the workplace or be happy using public transport to commute.
