About the Role
Due to our continued expansion, we are looking for an ambitious and experienced SEO Executive to join our digital marketing team. With significant investment being driven into our performance marketing division, it's an exciting time to join the business and a perfect opportunity for someone looking to support the successful implementation of a global SEO strategy.
Responsibilities
- Analysing the performance of the organic channel with wider teams in order to highlight key opportunities for improved visibility across generic, third party and own brand search queries.
- Developing and implementing SEO strategy deliverables including - but not limited to thorough keyword research, on-site optimisation and content brief creation.
- Ensuring that our stores adhere to Google's technical best practice guidelines through routine crawls and on-site fixes.
- Analysis of page speed performance and Core Web Vitals metrics.
- Completing thorough competitor analysis and SERP landscape insight across wider territories.
- Collaborating with wider marketing teams, feeding into overall marketing plans for new product launches and seasonal campaigns.
- Working closely with our content team to highlight opportunities to repurpose and enhance legacy on-site copy.
- Delivering industry insights to wider marketing teams.
Requirements
- Previous SEO experience covering on-site, technical, and off-page fundamentals.
- Experience in using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Adwords Keyword Planner.
- Experience across a variety of SEO platforms including Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEM Rush, SEO Monitor, and Content King (or similar).
- An understanding of Google's Search Quality Rater Guidelines and Algorithm updates
- Google Data Studio experience
- Shopify experience
- Excellent communication skills with strong written and verbal skills
- Be detail-oriented and think outside the box
- Be a creative self-starter who is keen to share their own ideas
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to follow instructions, work both independently and as part of a team on projects
