Apollo Home Healthcare are seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support our young service users with their complex care needs.
If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to expand your skills and knowledge into complex clinical care or if you already have complex care experience, this could be the perfect job role for you!
We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user whilst building positive relationships with them and their family.
Meet our service user
Our service user is a cheerful young girl who lives with her loving family in Scarbrough and requires support throughout the day with her complex care needs.
She is a big Disney fan and loves all things Disney this includes musicals, games and watching movies. She loves to explore sensory activities and enjoys interaction with her family and care team.
During the day you will be supporting her with her personal care, moving and handling, attending to her clinical care needs when required and assisting her to enjoy her hobbies and interests.
Our ideal candidate will be pet friendly as our service user has two pet cats at home.
Our service user is none verbal and communicates through various ways, it is important that you become familiar with her methods of communication to ensure her needs and wants are met. Patience and understanding are key qualities for this role.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
It is essential to have a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle for this position

We have the following shifts available;
Take a look at our payrates
Weekdays: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £114.75 per 8.5-hour shifts)
Weekends: £14.50 per hour (Approx. £123.25 per 8.5-hour shifts)
Bank Holiday: £18.50 per hour (Approx. £157.25 per 8.5-hour shifts)
